"I purchased this new, and before even hitting 10,000 miles, the engine has shut off three times already. The engine goes out while driving under normal conditions!"

"A Lexus knock-off - buy it instead of the Lexus 350. Similiar exterior, almost exactly the same interior, same cargo space, same horsepower, better warranty and over $25,000 cheaper."

"I originally had a 2003 Sante Fe and absolutely loved it! I was actually heart broken when it started to nickel and dime me, and realized the best thing to do at my age was to trade it for another car. However, after looking at the new ones and all the extra equipment added, and the deal I received on mine, I couldn't refuse getting a new one. Wasn't real crazy about the color at first, but I am very happy with it now. The 2 tone effect of the silver is eye catching. The ride is smooth, the interior is beautiful, and there is ridiculous amount of room and little storage spaces everywhere. Radio control at the tip of my thumb, and I'm tickled pink with the Bluetooth available on this one. Makes for safe driving. Very, very happy!!!! After owning my previous vehicle for almost 10 years and putting 110,000 + miles on it, I would recommend this type car to anyone. This is now the 4th Sante Fe in our household since 2001."

"Purchased in June 2012. Just finished a 5,500 mile cross county trip. Very pleased with mpg and how well it handles. Only complaint would be rear visibility. Two improvements I woiuld recomend (1) sensor on side mirrors to let driver know when a vehicle is in a nearby lane (wouild help visibility issue), (2) one of the cigarette lighter plugins to be on when the ignition is off (good for charging cell phone, GPS, etc.)."

"this is a great SUV, confortable and it has power and speed if you put the foot on the pedal, specially if you get the v6. Super spacious and still it is not a bus (huge suv), and that makes it really stylish. Comes with a great warranty but I havent had any problems at all after owning it for a year, and the gas per miles it not bad i can get sometimes in the city 22-25 and on hwy there you can get 25-30. In my opinion it is the best value for you money on the suv market"

"I have had this car for 2 months now. I purchased it because I liked it's switchable 4wheel drive. The car had a smooth sedan like comfortable ride. Th exterior and interior are well put together The AWD kicks in when one wheel slips, or it can be locked in. The seats are very comfortable, especially the driver's seat. Leg room is very roomy, especially on the driver's side. I am 5'10" and can extend my left foot with room to spare. On the highway it has lots of pep. Fuel consumption could be better. I average 15 mpg around town , 21 1/2-22 highway."

"We purchased our 2012 Santa Fe Limited 2.4L just over a month ago and we just came back from taking it on a vacation down to Orlando, FL. I will say that this SUV exceeded our expectations in everyway. We wondered how the 2.4L would do out on the road and we were very pleased with it's performance. No, it's not going to win any drag races, but the motor never struggled at all even though it was loaded with a family of four and the cargo space was filled with luggage. Best of all...26 mpg on the trip running at 70 mph! The handling and comfort of the vehicle were also excellent. Needless to say, we are very happy with our purchase."
